These terms govern your use of CommonCard, an iPhone app operated by Hwa Labs, LLC that helps couples see what each of them is responsible for on the accounts they share. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
CommonCard connects to the bank and card accounts you choose, imports their transactions, and totals each person's share by account and by month based on how purchases are tagged and the split percentage you set. It is an informational tool. It does not move money, pay bills, or settle balances between you and your partner, and any financial arrangement between you is yours to decide.
You must be at least 18 to use CommonCard. Only connect accounts you are authorized to access, and only invite a partner you intend to share that information with. Anyone you connect as a partner can see the accounts, transactions, tags, and totals in your shared CommonCard.
Account connections are provided through Plaid. By connecting an account you also agree to Plaid's terms and privacy policy. Banks occasionally require you to reconnect, and transaction data can be delayed, incomplete, or changed by your bank. CommonCard does not guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of data it receives.
Don't use the service to access accounts you are not authorized to use, don't try to break or probe its infrastructure, and don't use it for anything unlawful.
CommonCard is free to start, with limits on connected banks and without automatic transaction sync. CommonCard Premium is a paid subscription, billed annually through your Apple account, that renews automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel in your device's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple.
You keep ownership of the information you put into CommonCard, such as categories and how you tag purchases. You give Hwa Labs, LLC the limited license needed to store and process it to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Totals, categories, and splits are for your information only. CommonCard does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.
The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. Totals depend on how purchases are tagged and on data from your financial institutions, and may contain errors.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Hwa Labs, LLC's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, and it is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You can delete your account at any time in the app. Hwa Labs, LLC may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or put the service or its users at risk.
Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the service or these terms.
If these terms change materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use of the service means you accept them.
